The company operates the first two thermal power plants in the off-grid market—a 15MW facility in Masbate and another 15MW plant in Palawan—both designed to co-fire biomass with coal. These projects reflect DMCI Power’s efforts to incorporate renewable fuels into its off-grid operations.
By 2025, DMCI Power’s total generation capacity is expected to increase by 27% with the commercial launch of the 12MW Semirara Wind Project and additional bunker and diesel-fired plants.
